Well i am biast when I say that Ivar Södergren is one of the best artists ever, he's my dad. But still if your into my stuff you have to like his, he is of course my biggest inspiration together with Petter Zennström and Jörgen Melanton and a few others. Watercolor on paper.

When I made this suite of work I was currently in post traumatic stress therapy after a quite rough armed robbery at my work place. My therapist knew I was an artist and she wanted to se my work, when I showed her these pintings she emedietly wanted to put me on happy pills, and asked me if I was suicidal.

Still packin'

The best thing with going through your cellar is that you find stuff you forgot about, I found some 50 paintings from ca.2005 so I thaught why not post them. A few every day, but I start out with these...all is ink and watercolour on paper.

This is a job I made for the opening of Weekday on götgatan in Stockholm, I also did interiors for Weekday Gothenburg but sadly enough I don't have any photos.

Big hands

This is a geometrical freak I made a while ago. Skeleton from recycled stuff as usual, painted textile skin and 60's button eyes. I can't say exactly what it is but to me he feels a bit perverse. SOLD

Obs! kultur kvarten goes to Berlin

Tonight it's time again for Obs! kulturkvarten. I usually make the flyers for the club and I never get the script untill the last minute, but thats allright because I always end up with something unexpected. So tonight at Berlin-stockholm at skånegatan, be there!

Weeping tar

Another chopped and screwed fashion mag, stupid enough I never glued these I just took a few flix and threw the pieces away. Some times the brain wont act as quick as the hand.

Another ballpen sketch i found going through old sketchbooks. It's one of those I never could transfer to a larger formate, it totally lost all life. But maybe in the future I will find the right technique for it.
